MAETA holds first open event

Monarch Aircraft Engineering Training Academy (MAETA) had a very successful turn out to its first ever open evening, held last week, to highlight the next intake of apprenticeships.

Over 100 young adults arrived from all over the UK to visit the leading independent MRO provider’s Luton-based Training Academy to find out more about the Scheme. This follows MAETA’s announcement that it would double its intake from 20 to 40 apprentices for 2018/2019.

MAETA’s staff members and First Year Apprentices welcomed the future engineering students and gave them an insight into the 4-year programme and a tour around the facility.

The application process closes on the 20th April, 2018 and successful candidates will complete a course of training to obtain work related experience and qualifications to ensure that they are able to carry out the role of an aircraft maintenance engineer.
