Aviation Skills Partnership Awards open for nominations

Nominations are now open for the 2018 Aviation Skills Awards which recognise and reward those who are doing exceptional work in aviation and training.

What are the Aviation Skills Awards?


Aviation Skills Partnership is an organisation that aims to address the skills shortage in the aviation industry. As part of its mission, it has developed a unique set of awards that promote and celebrate the achievements of people, businesses and organisations who put skills at the heart of their work and understand how critical skills development is for future growth and sustainability in the aviation sector.

The aim is also to showcase lead examples in the industry as well as individuals who help to inspire the next generation of young people considering a career in the industry. The Aviation Skills Awards are divided into two sections - Rotorcraft and Aeroplane Skills Awards.
These have four categories each:


Young Person of the Year (under 25 years old)

Provider of the Year

Business of the Year

Mentor / Teacher / Trainer of the Year
