The Systems & Equipment Special Interest Group (SESIG) is a group for ADS members and stakeholders involved in the UK systems and equipment sector.
WHAT IS THE SYSTEMS & EQUIPMENT SPECIAL INTEREST GROUP?
The SESIG provides a focal point for ADS members who have interests in the systems and equipment sector, serving as a central point within ADS for policy matters associated with the sector. The group influences and advises the ADS Council and Boards, as well as other relevant groups and the wider ADS Membership on SESIG activity. The group represents the interests of the sectors through engagement, liaison, and co-ordination with other relevant forums and bodies including, but not limited to, ASD, IAWG, EqIMG, KTNs & academia. The group provides input to government initiatives & consultations as required, whilst also assisting members to identify key points (and routes) of influence and to deliver a common voice on business issues and priorities. The group aims to be recognised as a strong advocate of the UK aerospace systems and equipment supply networks; its capabilities and its important contribution to the UK's competitive position, employment and the wider economy, whilst also positioning UK capabilities for international export opportunities.
