WHAT IS THE OBJECTIVE OF THE SC21 INDUSTRY APPROVAL BOARD (IAB)?

SC21 is an improvement programme designed to accelerate the competitiveness of the aerospace & defence industry and support the needs of the 21st Century.

The SC21 Industry Approval Board acts as the focal point for the evaluation of all the 21st Century Supply Chain (SC21) performance standards requests.

WHAT IS THE PURPOSE OF THE BOARD?

The SC21 Industry Approval Board ensures that the organisations participating to the SC21 programme and achieving and maintaining agreed criteria in terms of delivery, quality, sustainable improvement and the associated improvement frameworks (Business, Manufacturing and Relationship excellence) receive recognition in the form of a Bronze, Silver or Gold performance standards.

The Board acts to evaluate all the SC21 award requests received from the SC21 Project Office, approving or rejecting them depending if they fully comply with the SC21 standards or not.

The IAB Board refers to the SC21 standards, established from the PDQ SIG.

HOW DO I JOIN?
