The UK’s security sector is one of the most dynamic and fast-growing, with figures in this report showing that it generated £8.5bn last year, £3.4bn of which came through exports a rise of 6 per cent compared with the previous year.
The Security Industry Outlook report highlights the success of the many companies operating in the sector, with a high number of small and medium-sized firms as well, as larger businesses, directly employing 71,000 people across the UK earning around 33 per cent higher than the national average.
