Dr. Timothy (Tim) King has been helping major organizations improve the exploitation of digital data for over 20 years. These organizations have included Babcock International, NATO, Shell, Rolls-Royce, Network Rail, the UK National Nuclear Laboratory and the UK Ministry of Defence. Typically, each organization has been concerned with how data can transform the performance and affordability of support for complex, high-value engineered assets. Tim has a long history of working in the development and implementation of standards and, since 2006, he has led the working group that has developed ISO 8000, the international standard for data quality. In his spare time, he is an international croquet player and he lives in the UK with a Japanese wife and three children.
