Senior Expert In-Service data exchange, integration and management

Ramón Somoza is currently Senior Expert in Electronic Information Exchange and Data Integration at Airbus Defence and Space. He holds an university degree in Computer Sciences, but his experiences cover many fields. He has worked as a translator; he has developed software, including simple web applications, desktop or corporate systems and even airborne software for the Eurofighter Typhoon. He occupied multiple positions in  Engineering, Information Management, Manufacturing and Customer Services, as well as the A400M transport aircraft Final assembly Line (FAL). His experience also extends to data exchange, process and data modeling, contract negotiations, program management and eve business intelligence and business development

Ramón Somoza has also worked in at least a dozen of standardization committees, mainly in the software and integrated product support areas. He has chaired two of these groups in the Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE) and two others at the AeroSpace and Defence Industries Association of Europe (ASD). He is currently the chairman of S5000F, In-service data feedback, and SX000i, International guide for Integrated Logistic Support.

Married with three children, he is also a well-known author, with over 30 books published in Spanish, English and Italian.
