My name is Manuel Álvarez, I studied a BEng in Electronic and Telecommunication Engineering (University of Seville, 2005) and I obtained the Master in Electronics, Signal treatment and Communications in 2007.
I started in the research area of the Department of Electronic Engineering (University of Seville) and after this period I began to work as a Project Engineer & Researcher.
I changed my career to begin in the aeronautic world where I worked for the CN-235 & C-295 programmes before starting with a new aircraft, the A400M, where I was introduced to the S1000D.
My role as a Project Manager taught me to be a responsible team player that conducts himself with professionalism, integrity and confidentiality.
Finally I joined Airbus Defence & Space in 2014 where my current position is TID PMO for the A400M Programme. Within this role, I can support the TID team to look for any available possibility in the specs to guarantee Customers’ contracts in accordance with the needs that the programme demands to the technical publications.
Currently working with OCCAR and A400M Customers in the frame of S1000D to find out the potential of technical publications linked to the programme’s requirements.
My hobbies / interests are travelling, learning and practising sports such as running, MTB and trekking.
