ADS would like to gauge levels of interest in joining the United Kingdom Pavilion at Spain’s International Defence & Security Exhibition, FEINDEF, in 2025.
FEINDEF is the only defence and security sector exhibition in Spain with the institutional support of the Spanish Ministry of Defence. The show offers the opportunity for industry stakeholders to present their capabilities and solutions to the challenges of the international defence and security market. The event strengthens the implementation of collaborative research initiatives, drives innovation, and contributes to the overall advancement of the industry.
This will be the fourth iteration of the exhibition and it will feature various conferences, workshops, and round tables led by experts and government authorities. It will address the latest trends in cyber defence, smart logistics bases, disruptive technologies, and the essential role of women in the defence and security industry.
Market Insight
It is important to note the steady growth of Spain’s defence spending, nearly £17bn in 2023 and on track to deliver on their NATO pledge of 2% GDP by 2029. Moreover, there are a range of ongoing modernisation programmes and planned acquisitions for the Spanish Armed Forces. This is a great opportunity for UK industry to showcase its capabilities to the Spanish market, as well as international partners located in Europe, South America, and Africa.
Likewise, following the Prime Minister’s recent welcoming of the Prime Minister of Spain in July, plans have been set out for how the UK and Spain can work even closer to combat challenges facing Europe.
