The Team Tempest Partners will be hosting their first industry engagement event in Northern Ireland for companies interested in the Team Tempest Programme and the RAF Capabilities Team will outline other programmes and opportunities with the RAF.
Hosted by Team Tempest Headquarters and ADS, with the support of the RAF’s Rapid Capabilities Office and Industry partners, the event will offer a briefing at Official level for industry interested in understanding more about the Tempest programme and its role in supporting the UK MoD’s Combat Air Strategy.
The Tempest programme is particularly interested in engaging with companies that are able to offer capabilities and technologies that can generate, exploit and contain intellectual property (IP) within the UK, an objective highlighted in the UK MoD’s Combat Air Strategy in support of their vision for UK to remain at the leading edge of Combat Air system development.
The morning session will provide an overview of the Tempest programme and the RAF Capabilities Team will outline other programmes and opportunities with the RAF. In the afternoon, a separate Official Sensitive briefing for suitably-cleared UK industry representatives will take place. In parallel in the afternoon there will be opportunities for informal one to one meetings.
The event will:
- Outline the Team Tempest Programme and the MoD’s future Combat Air programme
- We hope to have present Team Tempest industry partners (BAE Systems, Rolls-Royce, Leonardo and MBDA) and provide industry engagement directly with these partners
- An afternoon session will provide more information on the portfolio of work packages being undertaken by Team Tempest (Official Sensitive), security clearance is required to attend.
A detailed agenda and joining instructions will be published in due course.
Places will be limited at 2 delegates per company. Early registration is recommended.
