ADS will once again be hosting the UK Pavilion at Aerospace & Defense Supplier Summit (A&DSS) Seattle.

A&DSS Seattle is a supply chain event that brings together aerospace and defense primes, tier suppliers and contract-manufacturers. Engineering, procurement, supply chain, fabrication, commodity teams, suppliers and service providers will meet through pre-arranged one-to-one meetings which will be held at the venue. The programme offers all participants the opportunity to sign up, identify and request meetings with relevant contacts prior to the show.  In 2016, 850 companies exhibited from 40 countries where 11000+ pre-arranged meetings were held with 1500 delegates.

Assistance from a Dedicated ADS Event Manager:
ADS will assist participating companies by liaising with the organisers on behalf of its exhibitors, by providing regular updates on the event and key deadlines, arrangement of a group rate at a suitably located hotel and arrangement of freight support if required.  There will be a representative from ADS on site each day to provide support as well as pre and post show assistance.

Enhanced Event Registration Assistance:
The Department for International Trade (DIT) and ADS have direct experience of A&DSS and are able to offer advice to UK companies to maximise their profile at the event, including securing the right B2B opportunities with Boeing, OEMs and Tier 1s.

How does it work? Suppliers use the A&DSS portal to indicate the customers that they would like to meet and submit a company profile. Requests and company profiles are then sent to the customer procurement agents, who determine which companies they will actually meet. The quality of the company profile therefore directly relates to the quantity and quality of meeting acceptances.

How will DIT and ADS support? DIT Aerospace Specialists, Chris Gane and Bill Peterson, and ADS Aerospace Business Development Manager, Harriet Wollerton, will review your materials prior to submission to help you maximise the acceptances. Additionally Chris and Bill will leverage their industry network to try to increase your likelihood of securing meetings with potential customers.

Boeing and Tier 1 Dinner:
Companies exhibiting through ADS will receive one invitation to attend an exclusive networking dinner with multiple members of the Boeing procurement team and representatives from several US tier 1 aerospace manufacturers.

Enhanced UK Aerospace Branding around the show:
DIT is looking to raise the collective profile of UK aerospace as the lowest-risk, best value partner of choice through coherent branding and marketing inside and outside A&DSS.

Boeing Tour:
Boeing are offering exhibitors within the UK Pavilion an opportunity to tour the Boeing 737 factory in Renton.  This would take place on Thursday 29 March between 08.30 and 12.00.

Boeing’s 737 factory at the Renton, Washington site leads the industry as the most efficient airplane factory in the world.  More than 11,600 commercial airplanes (707, 727, 737, and 757) or about 30 percent of the worldwide fleet flying today were built in Renton.

This tour is exclusively offered to those exhibiting within the UK Pavilion and is a fascinating insight in to Boeing and the wonders of aviation engineering.
