ADS is pleased to offer members the opportunity to attend its first formal briefing with the National Cyber Security Centre (NCSC). Following its operational establishment in October 2016, the NCSC's structures for engaging with industry have developed considerably, and this briefing will allow members to understand first-hand both these and the new body's wider roles and responsibilities.
format for the briefing
The NCSC has agreed to offer a perspective on the structure, operation and priorities of the organisation in so far as it looks upon companies operating in the aerospace, defence, security, and space sectors. Attendees will gain a better understanding of the NCSC's emerging strategy, and the status of the development of modes of engagement with the private sector such as the Cyber-security Information Sharing Partnership (CiSP). The session will also offer ADS members a better understanding of the cyber security guidance that the NCSC has developed to help organisations implement appropriate measures, together with the opportunity to ask questions on the current threat facing the UK and how innovators can work with the NCSC and other organisations to help mitigate the threat.
