To support the Regulatory aspects of the “Innovation and Engineering” activity with the ADS Aerospace Team, which includes Environment & Sustainability, Safety & Airworthiness, and Standards.
This is a new role that supports the ADS business objectives, (1) To influence the policy debates of most importance to our industries, and (2) To support UK manufacturing and our industries’ supply chains. It provides a fantastic opportunity at the heart of the Industry, to enable the UK aerospace industry shape emerging policies, regulations and standards, and ensure regulatory compliance at all parts of the supply chain.
Key to success will be the incumbent’s keenness to understand how regulations are shaped through national, European and international coordination, and how products and services are impacted (e.g. certification, development of standards, etc).
You will have a relevant Science or Engineering degree coupled with a basic understanding of the Aerospace from an Environment or Safety perspective.
The successful candidate is confident when engaging with industry stakeholders and will therefore be a clear and concise communicator, showing a keenness to develop presentation skills.
You have good organisational skills and a desire to develop project management skills. With an ambitious and proactive attitude, you have an appetite to grow knowledge and expertise.
