Aerospace Sector Certification Scheme
The ASCS activity within the ADS manages the deployment of the AS/EN/JISQ 9100, 9110 and 9120 Quality Management Standards for aerospace manufacturers, maintenance organisations and stockist distributors respectively.
These international standards are set by the International Aerospace Quality Group (IAQG), which consists of membership of more than 50 organisations worldwide. In the UK, the scheme is managed by the ADS through the Certification Body Management Committee (CBMC). The scheme is supported by the United Kingdom Accreditation Service and the International Register of Certificated Auditors.
Contact the enterprise excellence & supply chains project manager or call 020 7091 4500 if you would like further information, including the current status of elements of the scheme or information on the ADS Certification Body Management Committee.
The Certification Body Management Committee (CBMC) is the oversight body of the standard. Its membership comprises of industrial representatives, certification bodies, IRCA, UKAS and the regulatory authorities (CAA and MoD). The CBMC meets on a quarterly basis.
