International Aerospace Quality Group (IAQG)
The IAQG is a cooperative global organization of companies providing:
- Aviation and Space products and services
- Land and Sea based systems for defense applications
Mission
The goal of the IAQG is to implement initiatives that make significant improvements in quality and reductions in cost throughout the value stream by establishing and mantaining dynamic cooperation, based on trust, between aerospace companies.
The IAQG focuses on the continuous improvement of the processes mainly within the supply chain to deliver consistently high quality products.
European Aerospace Quality Group (EAQG)
The EAQG is the Quality community of ASD, the AeroSpace & Defence Industries Association of Europe and the European sector of IAQG, the International Aerospace Quality Group.
IAQG - EAQG and SC21
- IAQG and EAQG are both pursuing improvement initiatives
- SC21 has been accepted by the EAQG as the UK training and development process for Supplier Quality Improvement
- The IAQG Supply Chain Management Handbook shows areas of strong commonality

Certification Body Management Committee (CBMC)
The Certification Body Management Committee (CBMC) is the oversight body of the standard. Its membership comprises of industrial representatives certification bodies, IRCA, UKAS and the regulatory authorities (CAA and MoD). The CBMC meets on a quarterly basis.

Defence Industries Quality Forum
The Defence Industries Quality Forum (DIQF) has been in existence since the late 1980's and is the senior MOD Industry QA consultation forum. It enables the Defence Quality Assurance Authority to discharge the responsibility to consult with the major defence trade associations when developing MOD QA policy.
DIQF are active members of the Certification & Quality Improvement SIG.
Civil Aviation Authority (CAA)
The CAA is the UK's independent specialist aviation regulator. Its activities include economic regulation, airspace policy, safety regulation and consumer protection.
CAA are active members of the Certification & Quality Improvement SIG.
